Giles Arts Council Monthly meetings

 

Monthly meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 pm. at the Giles County Chamber of Commerce Building (Opposite the Post Office on S. Main St. in Pearisburg) The meeting is open to all members and prospective members. Come to a meeting and join the council.

PATS Building Mural

The PATS Building Mural is scheduled to be completed in September. Please visit this website for more information on this project and pictures of it's progress. This art activity was made possible by a  Local Government Challenge Grant  awarded by the Virginia Commission for the Arts and matching funds contributed by the Town of Pearisburg.

Music at the Market

The Giles Art Council is pleased to announce that funds have been received from a  Local Government Challenge Grant  from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and a  matching contribution from  the Town of Pearisburg for a music concert series. Bands interested in performing at the Pearisburg Community Market "Music at the Market" Series should contact Terry Reed  at terry@henryreed.org or Lynn Hazelwood  at lynne.hazelwood@pearisburg.org. Most performances will be scheduled in the evening on the third Thursday of each month from May-October. Thank you for your interest!
